Project Objective: To promote the local medicinal herbs for income generation of local people
Major Achievement : commercial farming and processing of medicinal herbs like Jatamashi, Titepati, Pakhanved, Ghoda Marcha, Dhatelo, Gandhainu, LG Herbs.
2. Title of the project: Food For New Village Movement (FFNV)
Donor: UNWFP
Budget: US$ 3 million
Duration:2011 to 2015
Project Area: Doti (Pokhari VDC & Ladagada VDC)
Beneficiaries: 1772 HH
Project Objective:To provide conditional cash transfer that immediately fulfill seasonal food gaps and meet short-term needs for income; & to create long-term social and human capital by constructing basic infrastructure, enhancing agricultural productivity and improving livelihood resilience and situation of health, sanitation and education in the communities
Major Achievements:

f. Cash For Assets (CFA) distribution: Nrs. 3,43,875
g. Rehabilitation of cooperatives: 2 (coverage of cooperative 88% of total HHs)

Income Generation Activities: vegetable, ginger and turmeric, mushroom, fruit, improved seed of rice and wheat, soil sampling and testing, farm mechanization, plant health clinic, post harvest management, compost manure preparation, community nursery management, goat, poultry, improved bred cow, veterinary clinic, VDC level collection center construction, etc.
i. Education: stationary materials support, community library, school buildings (7 schools), science lab and computer lab, solar panel, capacity enhancement trainings to teachers and SMC members, OLPC (one laptop per child program), NFE class, remedial classes for students, ECD classroom management, teacher support for quality education etc.
j. Health: Renovation of PHP and ORC, toilet construction, ODF and Post ODF support, campaign, first aid, general and special health check ups, capacity enhancement training, IEC materials development

3. Title of the Project: Community Development Project:
Donor: Good Neighbors International (GNI)
Budget: Nrs. 101,53,08,500
Duration: 2002-2015
Project Area: Kathmandu (2002), Lalitpur (Badikhel project-2003, Lele Project-2006); Kailai (Pathraiya project-2007, Tikapur project-2008, Kota tulsipur Project, Baliya Project and Durgauli Project-2010); Bardiya (Pathabhar project-2010, Gulariya Project-2012; Mugu (2010), Humla (2010), Doti (2011), Parbat (2013), Myagdi (2013), Gorkha (2013), Kaski (2013), Darchula (2013), Bajura (2013)
Beneficiaries: 120049 students including 30,000 sponsored children
Project Objective:
• Providing the formal and non formal education to ensure self-reliant community.
• Conducting the advocacy related activities, medical camp as well as required materials support to local health institutions.
• Supporting on agriculture and forestry with the community development approach among with community infra support and relief support in emergency
• Network building with the national and international like indeed agencies for the achievement of the common goals and objectives.
